Syllabus for Digital Signal Processing 1: Introduction to Digital Signal and Image Processing

 

Each week we will divide the course into theory and (practical) portions. On Wednesday there will be a problem discussion session as required.

  • The student may attend any of my sections.
  • Students must complete their own work. Duplicated assignments are assigned a zero.
  • This is your course, so make suggestions on the coverage, and we can fill in any gaps in your knowledge by investigation of additional material.
  • Students are responsible to check the course website for updates.
  • Students are expected to do the reading prior to the class.
  • During class, students may not use computers for the running of games, chat programs, or checking emails.
  • Use of cellular devices (phones, pagers, etc) is not tolerated.
